In a dying world where the First Flame fades, the cycle of fire and dark nears its end. To prevent the coming of the Age of Dark, ancient heroes known as the Lords of Cinder—beings who once linked the flame—must return to their thrones and rekindle the fire once more. You are the Ashen One, an undead risen from the grave, not to link the flame, but to find your place in a world collapsing under the weight of countless cycles. As you hunt down the fallen Lords—such as Aldrich, Yhorm, and Lothric—you uncover the truth: the flame is no longer worth kindling, and the age of fire is decaying beyond repair. Ultimately, you face the decision to link the flame, let it fade, or steal its power—a final act in an endless cycle of fire, sacrifice, and rebirth
